Saugatuck Citizen of the Year

posted Sat April 04, 2015

The Dutchers wish to offer their congratulations to Marilyn Starring for being chosen the 2015 Tony Vettori Saugatuck Citizen of the Year. She is a loyal, generous and long time supporter of our club and other non-profit groups.  Besides owning and being involved with the Star of Saugatuck Cruises since the 1990’s, she has also been involved with community organizations, Saugatuck/Douglas Schools, and many professional captain’s and ship organizations.  She and her husband, Bruce, have also hosted fundraising events for groups in the area.  They never say no to helping others out on a regular basis.  We are proud of her award and feel privileged to have her business as a supporter of the Dutchers.  Three Huzzahs to Marilyn and Bruce Starring and to the Star of Saugatuck Cruises!
