Mariners Soak the Dutchers
posted Sun May 06, 2012
Mother nature was almost victorious in the opening match of the season. But after the rain subsided, the Dutchers found themselves in a see-saw battle with the Ludington Mariners. After falling behind 4-1 early, the Dutchers stormed back to take a 7-4 lead late in the game. However, in the end, it was the Mariners who turned the tide in the final innings to claim victory over the Dutchers, 9-7. The Dutchers will be on display again next week Saturday, May 12 in the Tulip Time Muziek Parade.
